In the Project Tab, you will find all specifications, concepts, and files (requirements information) for your bid. The Project Tab follows a section pattern to simplify collaboration and organization for you. Next, we'll cover how to add and structure information, collaborate with your colleagues, and how you can also incorporate supplier
Create and edit project information.
Initially (if no template was used), you will find the project tab empty (as shown in the illustration).
You can now start building your outline.
First, you need to activate the editing function. Click on "Edit Information" in the left navigation. Then click on "Add Project Section" (either in the middle of the screen or in the Action Bar). A context menu will open, in which you need to name the section. In our example, we'll name it "General."
The section "General" has now been created. It also appears on the left in the quick navigation bar.
In the next step, please also create additional important topics for your proposal (e.g. Technical Information, Legal, etc.).
Great, you've created the basic structure of your proposal. Now let's delve into the editing features and the creation of information (project elements).
The project sections have four functional buttons.
Using the arrow on the left side, you can rearrange the sections through drag-and-drop: click and hold the arrow, then move the section to the correct position.
The trash bin symbol on the right side allows you to delete a project section. Caution, this will also delete all information associated with the project section.
You can modify the label of the section using the pencil symbol. By using the green + symbol, you can create project elements for the respective sections.
At this point, both you and your colleagues can contribute and input your requirements.
Click on the + symbol, and in the opening context menu, you can give the element a title and input your information in an editor. Through the editor, you can format, insert images, tables, and links in the usual manner.
When you're done, click on save.
The project element now appears under the respective project section. If you want to show or hide the contents, simply click on the title of the project element.
This element also provides the option to move it using drag-and-drop via the arrow. You can edit the information using the pencil icon, and delete the element using the trash bin icon. If you want to attach additional files (e.g. drawings) to the element, you can do so by using "Add File." Note: To see this button, the element contents must be visible. Once you're done editing, click "Exit Editing" on the left side of the navigation.
Now, create all relevant information with your colleagues.
TIP: Divide the project sections by departments, so your colleagues can work on their respective topics simultaneously.
If you have additional files that are not assigned to individual project elements, you can add them through Project Files. To do this, scroll all the way down or click on "Project Files" on the left navigation. Then you can add the files using "Add Project File."
Collaboration with Suppliers
At Prospeum, our goal is to simplify collaboration with your suppliers and generate real value. To facilitate this, suppliers can submit suggestions and questions about your project information in ticket format.
As explained in the article about the virtual project space, you can identify unanswered tickets using the widget on the right.
However, to streamline your work on individual project elements, you'll also find relevant tickets grouped with the respective project elements right here in the project tab. To do this, click "Questions" for the corresponding element. A popup will appear, showing you all relevant suggestions and/or questions.
