Procedure
-
Click on the settings icon located at the top right corner.
-
Select the "Supplier Management" tab.
-
Click on "Supplier Data."
-
Here, you will see two pre-selected groups: "Basic Information" and "Detailed Information." These groups are also present in the supplier profile.
-
Decide in which of the two sections you want to add or edit master data fields. Select the appropriate section to view the fields within that section.
-
Use the "Edit" button to modify the fields.
-
To add new fields, click on the green plus symbol located at the top of the section heading.
-
If you want to create a new separate section within the basic information, click on "Add Section."
-
Provide a name for the section, such as "Test Section."
-
Under this section, you can now add a supplier master data field.
-
Assign a field name, for example, "Test Field," and select the field type. Various field types are available for selection.
-
After creating the field, you can make important settings in the field settings using the "Edit" button. One important setting pertains to the visibility and editability of the field.
-
You can specify whether a supplier can see the field at all, whether a supplier can view the field but not edit it, or whether a supplier can make changes to this field. This setting is particularly important if you intend to use the field for questionnaire campaigns or onboarding processes.
-
Save the field after making the necessary settings.
-
If you no longer need a field, you can also delete it through the settings.
