This article walks you through the steps to assign one or more employees as managers for a specific commodity group. Commodity Group Managers receive important notifications related to their assigned groups, such as new supplier onboardings or expiring documents.
Prerequisites
- You must have Administrator privileges to perform these actions.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Navigate to Administrator Settings by clicking the gear icon (Settings) in the top-right corner of the navigation bar.
- In the left-hand navigation menu, click Supplier Management to expand its submenu options.
- Select the Category Management sub-category.
- Locate the desired commodity group in the list and click the Edit icon (pencil symbol) on the far right of its row.
- A side panel titled Edit Commodity Group will open. Scroll down to the Associate Search field.Associate
- Enter the name of the employee you wish to assign into the search field and select them from the results. You can add multiple employees.
- After selecting all desired employees, click the Update button to save your changes.
