Prospeum exclusively utilizes publicly accessible sources with appropriate licenses for abstract risk assessment. The list of these sources is continually expanded. As part of the LksG module, the sources mentioned in Annex II of the BAFA report "Identifying, Prioritizing, and Weighting Risks" have been processed.
It is important to highlight that Prospeum mainly relies on primary sources. This means that we use the same sources referred to by entities such as the "Human Rights and Business Country Guide," the "Business and Human Rights Resource Centre," or the "US State Department."
For the development of sector-specific risks, Prospeum follows an individual approach and consistently supplements these. Currently, the industry, product, and country-specific risks captured in the CSR Risk Check form the basis of our work. These risks are published by MVO Nederland and the Business and Human Rights Helpdesk (Agency for Business and Development). Interested parties can review the corresponding reports at https://www.mvorisicochecker.nl/de/csr-risiko-check. With this comprehensive approach, Prospeum provides a solid foundation for reliable risk assessment.
