This article explains how to view the email logs to check if emails were delivered successfully or have failed, for instance, due to an incorrect email address.
Prerequisites (If any)
- You must have administrator permissions.
- The email logging feature must be enabled for your system. If you do not see the "Email Logs" option, please contact your Prospeum representative.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- In the top-right navigation bar, click the Administrator Settings icon (gear).
- In the left navigation menu, select Email Logs.
- You will now see a table overview of all emails sent through the system in the last 30 days.
- To display only failed deliveries, click the dropdown menu under the Status column header and select FAILED.
- The list will now be filtered to show only emails that could not be delivered. These are clearly marked with a red FAILED badge.
Troubleshooting / Pro-Tips
- Find the reason for failure: Hover your mouse over the red FAILED badge. A tooltip will appear showing the specific error message for why the email could not be delivered.
- Identify the incorrect email: In the Recipient column, you can find the exact email address to which the delivery failed. You can copy this address directly from the table.
- Correct the email address: After copying the incorrect address, you can paste it into the Global Search at the top of the page. This will help you quickly find the associated supplier or user and correct their contact information.
