If your production plant purchases other CBAM goods in order to produce a CBAM good itself (e.g. you purchase steel rod in order to produce a steel screw), you also have to request emission data from your suppliers and use them in your own CBAM data communication template.
How do I know if I use precursors?
Check all the CN codes of the purchased material you use in order to produce your CBAM goods. If any of those CN codes is listed as a CBAM good, you have to request the data.
How do I request the data?
- Send the CBAM data communication template to your supplier and let them complete it on a similar way as you are doing now
- Contact us and use our platform to request the data
