Procedure
- After preparing your tender and determining the information you want to receive from suppliers, you can now establish the weighting of each criterion.
- Click on the "Scoring List" slider at the top to access the weighting function.
- Here, you'll see all the elements that are being evaluated in the tender, such as the questionnaire, its sections, individual questions, and different price sheets.
- You can set the point values for each element to influence the weighting.
- Using the point logic, you can adjust and determine the weighting individually.
- If desired, you can set the weighting for a specific element to zero if it has no relevance for evaluation or is purely informative.
- Below, you'll find the "Beauty Contest," which is explained in a separate video. You can decide if it should factor into the overall evaluation and whether only the final round or the average across all rounds should be considered.
- The final setting is the "Special Criterion," which allows you to define additional criteria. These are rated on a 1 to 5-star scale.
- Examples of special criteria are bonus/penalty factors, such as the supplier's location, which can receive extra points if closer to your location.
- You can also use the special criterion to gather information that cannot be automatically evaluated by the system. For instance, you might use your own Excel table to assess this information.
- Click on "New Special Criterion" to create an additional criterion. Give it a name, like "Location," and set the weighting.
- You can add as many additional special criteria as you like, and weigh them in the same way as other topics.
- Once you're done with the weighting, click "Save Scorecard" to apply the settings.
- This completes the process of setting the weighting and creating bonus/penalty special criteria.
Note: Weighting criteria and establishing bonus/penalty special criteria are important steps in the evaluation process. They allow for customization and consideration of specific factors in the tender evaluation.
